Quarter blue cloth with gilt titles and paper-covered boards. Edges rubbed and boards lightly soiled. Endpapers a little toned & minor foxing to textblock edge otherwise a very clean copy; no annotation or inscriptions. Describes in detail the finds from Hadrian’s Wall excavated by John Clayton of the Chesters and displayed at his museum.
