FIRST EDITION. Octavo. 391 pp. Photographic portraits throughout of soldiers from all ranks, with brief biographical details. Book Condition: Very Good. Landscape format limp cloth wraps with gilt titles and flags & crest in colour to upper board. Dark green endpapers. Covers creased and rubbed with wear at corners and lower edge; minor damp stain to rear top edge. Scuff-mark to ffep where tipped-in label has been removed; scribbles to rear endpapers. A little corner creasing, mainly to early leaves, and very sporadic minor fingermarking/foxing, otherwise contents clean. Copies were presented to all members of His Majesty's Forces who joined up in the Skipton Parliamentary Division, or to their next of kin," as a memento of the noble part that Craven played in the Great War, and the Heroic Sacrifices made in upholding the Honour and Prestige of the British Empire". Scarce.
