Lower corner of upper board bumped at tip; cover cloth partially toned. Free endpapers toned as usual otherwise contents clean and crisp, with signature of the Author to limitation leaf in ink. A Very Good copy.
First collection of short stories by the prolific author and poet (1873-1950). The fifteen supernatural tales include the eerie “Seaton’s Aunt” which is widely regarded as one of De La Mare’s best works in this genre and was admired by master of the macabre H. P Lovecraft.
