FIRST EDITION. Small octavo, pp. xii, 311, . 20 hand-coloured plates as called for. Bottle green pebbled cloth with floral borders to boards in blind, pitcher plant motif in gilt to upper board and gilt titles and floral decoration to spine. Spine tips and corners a little bruised, with minor wear to lower corners; small area of gilt to upper board rubbed. A slightly shaken copy with paper cracked at inner hinges but firmly holding; small mark to front paste-down where label has been removed. Scattered foxing and toning; a few leaves roughly opened (affecting edges only). A Very Good copy overall.
