Complete with 80 full-page illustrations (some as plates, others to verso text) as called for including frontispiece with tissue guard; vignette to title page. Bound in teal, apricot, and cobalt blue illustrated cloth with gilt titles to upper board and spine. Slight spine lean, with very minor wear to corners ad spinetips of cloth. Prize label dated 1898 to ffep awarded to Frank Warrick, with Warrick’s address inscribed in a small neat contemporary hand to front paste-down. Cloth and contents are clean, bright and tight. With all illustrations clean, bright and crisp. Overall a Very Good copy. Influential science fiction adventure classic from Verne’s Voyages Extraordinaires series, attractively bound in the original publishers’ pictorial cloth. £600.00
