Publishers’ red cloth with titles and Old Bill illustrations in black to spine and upper board. Spine gently sunned with small nicks to cloth at tail; a slightly shaken copy with cracked inner rear hinge. Bold ownership inscription to ffep; no annotation; contents clean and crisp. A Very Good copy overall.
Scarce Bairnsfather title, the sequel to “Bullets and Billets” which chronicled the Author’s career in the first half of the Great War. This continues the story and features his experiences with American and British forces right up to the Armistice.
