FIRST EDITION. Octavo, pp. [4], 40. 3 plates including frontispiece with tissue guard, plus drawings within text. Mid blue cloth with gilt titles to maroon leather label to spine. 2 newspaper articles on Haltwhistle folklore pasted to blanks to rear and MS pedigree of the Pearson family to recto rfep. Minor wear at spine tips and corners. Annotation to p. 12, and MS pedigree; ownership inscription of John V. Adamson in pencil to ffep, presumed to be a relative of the Author. A little scattered foxing, mainly to newspaper clippings to rear; leaves very slightly toned. A Very Good copy.
 
Scarce history of the Northumberland parish, by the Vicar of South Westoe, a Member of the Council of the Society of Antiquaries of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
