Cover cloth lightly surface soiled, with wear at bruised corners and spine tips, and split to rear joint; title label soiled with small chip. Scattered foxing, a little heavier to early and late leaves; some marginal lining in pencil, and annotation to rear paste-down. A Good copy.
Goldman (1869-1940), the writer, lecturer and campaigner on socialist issues and women’s rights, was deported to Soviet Russia from the USA in 1919, after which she denounced the Soviet Union for its repressive regime. Scarce.
