Deep scarlet full polished calf with 5 raised bands, gilt titles to olive green label to spine, heavy gilt floral decoration to compartments and foliate border to boards, with large gilt crest of College of God’s Gift Dulwich Alleyn’s School to upper board. All edges and endpapers marbled. Spine a little rubbed at upper joint. Printed armorial Prize Plate to front paste-down, awarded to Ernest Boxall in 1898 for mathematics, and signed by the Headmaster. Final leaf of text and following blank toned otherwise contents clean; no annotation or inscriptions. A Very Good copy in a handsome binding.
