Publishers’ oatmeal cloth with black titles to spine and upper board, in unclipped pictorial dust-jacket. Clean and bright, with no annotation or inscriptions. Jacket surface soiled to white panels, with nicks and creases to edge and three tears: 3 cm closed tears to front and rear top edge, and 4 cm “L” shaped tear at head of spine. This book documents in photographs, plans, sketches and drawings a large selection of Le Corbusier’s most important works, selected from the seven volume “Complete Architectural Works of Le Corbusier” which was produced in close association with the architect himself. The three sections of the book cover buildings (the largest section, which is in turn subdivided into houses, large buildings and religious buildings); painting, sculpture and tapestries; and town planning.
