We are established booksellers with over 25 years experience. We are proud members of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association (ABA), the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB) and the Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association (PBFA). The ABA is the oldest organisation of its kind in the world - and the UK's senior trade body for dealers in antiquarian and rare books. Our valuations and offers to purchase are conducted according to the guidelines of the Association's Code of Good Practice.

LIBRARIES AND INSTITUTIONS DE-ACCESSIONING STOCK
We can provide valuation and consultation services for institutions, libraries and archives looking to value or deaccession their holdings.
We understand the nuances of institutional disposal policies and closely follow advice given by CILIP in their 'Disposals Policy for Rare Books and Manuscripts' statement. With this in mind, we provide expert advice on the best method of de-accessioning stock whether by auction, consignment or private sale. With many years experience in this regard, we can help identify books of value whilst taking heed of the conservation of core/special collections, provenance and publicity.
Please get in touch for more information about our rates and services.
