Original maroon cloth with gilt titles and crest to spine; gilt titles and motif to upper board. A Very Good copy overall. Inscribed to Presentation Leaf to Private Robert Bell; no further annotation or inscriptions. Spine a touch toned with rubbed tips; gilt dull; boards lightly scuffed with minor light staining to upper board, and bruised corners. Scattered light foxing, a little heavier to prelims and endpapers, otherwise clean and tight. History of the Battalion from raising in 1914, right through the campaigns of the Great War.
