Quarto, pp. [220] with 10 full-page plates and pp. [30] Fusilier George in France to rear including sketch map within text and copy of covers (printed with 2 pages of the original per page, at right angles to rest of text) and 26 page off print from The History of the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers including 3 maps. Black leather-effect hardcover binder with “Simpsons Malt” inn white to upper board below the company logo in yellow. A clean crisp copy inscribed by Simon Simpson of Simpson and Co to ffep, dated 1999. Small nick to foredge ffep otherwise Fine.
Posthumously produced history of the Alnwick malting company, by one of its Directors. Scarce. Heavyweight so a contribution towards increased postage costs will be requested for overseas delivery.
