Publishers’ dark blue cloth with gilt titles and ruling to spine, and Scottish History Society crest in gilt to upper board. From the library of Sir James Barrie (author J. M. Barrie, best known as the creator of Peter Pan), with his printed bookplate to front paste-down. Spine slightly sunned with wear to head; boards a little bruised at corners, with small indentation to spine. Contents clean; some leaves unopened. A Very Good copy.
