Second Alnwick printing (first pub. by Catnach and Davison in 1807). 12 mo bound in sixes, pp. 140, [2]. 7 engraved plates and 10 tail-pieces, designed by Mr Thurston and cut by Luke Clennell at the workshop of Thomas Bewick. Full polished calf with gilt titles to black label to spine and gilt ruling. Calf a little scuffed at corners and spine tips, upper rear joint just starting. Minor toning to title; ffep creased and very faint corner creasing to [7]-12, and minor loss to lower corner p. 37/8 affecting margin only. A solid, clean copy. From the library of Ruari & Antoia McClean with their pictorial bookplate featuring a seal colony to front paste-down; no annotation or inscriptions.
