Pebbled red cloth with gilt titles to upper board and foliate patterned endpapers. Binding a touch sunned in patches, a little rubbed at spine tips and corners. Contents clean and crisp, with no annotation or inscriptions.
 
Attractive book produced to mark the unveiling of the War Memorial at Eldon Lane and District Workmen’s Club and Institute in Bishop Auckland in 1919. Numerous illustrations of the memorial itself, Club officials and the soldiers featured on the Roll of Honour, and an account of the unveiling ceremony. Rare, not in COPAC or WorldCat.
