Publishers green buckram with gilt titles to spine in unclipped printed dust-jacket. Cover cloth slightly toned to edge, and a little creased at head of spine. Jacket toned, particularly to spine, with small loss to spine tips and corners, and damp-stain at head of spine. A study of religious icons discovered in Cyprus, with chapters by Rupert Gunnis and Tamara Talbot Rice. Contents include an examination of Cypriot painting, iconography and techniques as well as legends and aspects of medieval life, and a detailed account of the icons and what they represent.
