City of Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College stamp to each paste-down but no pockets or other obvious library markings, and no annotation or inscriptions. A very good copy overall. B.R. 525 (Restricted) Geographical Handbook Series For Official Use Only, with label to verso title page stating “This volume was produced and printed for official purposes during the war 1939/45”. The purpose of the series was primarily naval for the use of Commanding Officers, with a comprehensive account of countries that might be visited in war or peace time including history, administration resources and communications.
