Full polished calf, sympathetically re-backed using original boards; gilt titles and fillets to spine. Boards partially toned, with minor loss to corners. Small damp-stain from corner tip of pp. 143 to end, affecting margin only, and a little marginal marking in pencil otherwise contents clean with no inscriptions. A very good copy. History of the ancient borough by the Minister of the Low Meeting House, Berwick, with full translation of the 1604 King James Charter (the original is in Latin). Scarce. £85.00
