Grosset & Dunlap Edition, early reprint as indicated by lack of W. F. Hall imprint to copyright page, as Zeuschner identifies, it is almost impossible to determine priority of these reprints. Hardcover octavo, pp., 348, black-and-white frontispiece illustrated by Frank E. Schoonover. Original publisher’s pictorial dust-jacket. Publisher’s light-green cloth with black lettering and olive green design of an arc to upper board. Jacket slightly faded, small creases and nicks to edges. Slight spots of soiling to spine and upper board. Light scattered foxing to text-block edges and prelims. Overall, a very good copy. £40.00
