Prize binding of full flame calf; spine on five raised bands; titled in gilt to black morocco spine label; gilt ornaments to spine-panels; armorial stamp in gilt of Ripon Training college to upper board within border of gilt rolls; gilt rolls to edges of boards; rolls to dentelles in blind; marbled end-papers; all edges gilt. Binding sympathetically re-cased; slight rubbing to lower corners; binding otherwise strong and square, the gilt bright. Internally clean and free of annotations or inscriptions.
