Light soiling to cloth; gilt a touch rubbed; rubbing to corners and spine-tips; some gatherings starting but binding generally solid and holding well. Remnants of bookplate to front free paste-down; otherwise internally clean. A very serviceable copy. An influential work of folklore which argues that European witchcraft emerged from the worship of a pre-Christian horned god.
