An early book on aircraft, from aeroplanes, to dirigibles, to flying machines, formerly owned by Sir Charles Bright (1863-1937). Bright was son of the pioneering telegraph engineer of the same name, who made significant advances in communications technology in his own right. Of most interest to this book, Sir Charles developed the first radio capable of communicating between ships and aeroplanes. He no doubt consulted this practical guide to aeronautical engineering.
