Two sixteenmo pamphlets, both pp. 8 with wraps printed in three colours. Both with eight woodcuts, of which 4 are printed in three colours. Woodcut of the Walker book factory to lower wraps Evidence of adhesive to upper section of lower covers; minor loss, not affecting text, to lower cover ‘The House that Jack Built’. Library stamp to verso of upper wrap of both volumes. A very good pair. A charming if crudely printed pair of chapbooks by the prolific William Walker of Otley, which supply an illustration each of the ‘first book factory in the North’. £120.00
