Ackroyd provides a gripping account of the life of the extraordinary Wilkie Collins, author of ‘The Moonstone’ and ‘The Woman in White’.

This copy was signed by Ackroyd and then inscribed to his close friend and collaborator, the graphic designer Nick Robertson (1971-2025). The pair’s shared love of London, the Thames and urban exploration led to them walking the length of the river Thames over a course of Saturdays, culminating in the RIBA exhibition Dark Waters. £65.00
