Boards slightly soiled and rubbed to edge with minor wear and 1-inch split at joint to head of spine; minor loss to margin of title label. Ms gift inscription to front paste-down. Contents and author's preface bound out of sequence but all complete. One of Davison’s best known publications. Scarce.
