Etched, woodcut and wood-engraved vignettes and illustrations throughout by the author, Joseph Crawhall III, James Guthrie and W Chapman, many of which are hand-coloured. Book Condition: Near Fine. Skilfully rebacked in Andrew Reid & Co's original full black morocco trade binding with new endpapers. 5 raised bands, gilt titles to spine & gilt line decoration to boards, top edge gilt. Blindstamped line decoration and foliate motif to upper board. Complete with modern, lined plain black cloth slipcase. Edges a very little rubbed; four light indentation marks to upper board. Light foxing to early and late leaves. Scarce.
