Hans Holfelder was a German surgeon, pioneering radiologist and University lecturer and SS Oberfuhrer, founding the SS Rontgensturmbahn in which SS members were screened for tuberculosis. His screening programme examined patients and treated sufferers for TB and his work extended to the Hitler Youth and to prisoners in concentration camps, the latter to maintain the labour input and avoid epidemics. He was closely involved in plans to exterminate 35000 Polish TB patients with gas and was known for his extreme anit-Semitic views. Scarce. £200.00
