Publisher: Hutchinson & Co. (Publishers) Ltd., London;
Date of Publication: 1921
Stock Code: 7835

No stated publication date, but circa 1921. Octavo, pp. xviii, 469, [1]. Colour frontispiece of the Victoria Cross and ribbon. Publishers’ maroon cloth with gilt titles to spine, and VC motif in gilt to upper board inside triple border in blind; unclipped printed grey dust-jacket. Second Edition; revised. Spine tips gently rubbed and corners bumped. A little scattered light foxing, almost exclusively to title page, otherwise contents clean; no annotation or inscriptions. Jacket surface scuffed and a little creased with very minor loss at corners and spine tips. A Very Good copy in Very Good jacket.

Complete record of all those who won a VC from its institution to publication, including those of the Great War and up to 1921 (the First Edition being published in 1916 omitted the latter stages of the War). A staple of any library on the V.C. and an attractive copy in its scarce original 1921 dust-jacket.
