FIRST EDITION. Octavo, pp. 103, [1], printed on heavy grey paper. Publishers’ bright orange cloth with gilt titles to spine in light orange dust-jacket with red and black titles. Spine tips lightly rubbed and lower corners bruised; no annotation or inscriptions. Jacket a little surface soiled with a few nicks & creases, 2 cm closed tear to lower rear edge and very minor loss to edge. A Very Good copy in like jacket.
 
Translated from the Spanish by Ilsa Barea. Biography of the Spanish poet and “an interpretation of the poet in relation to his people and his time” (from jacket front flap). Scarce, particularly in jacket.
