FIRST EDITION. Octavo, pp. xxxii, 411, [1] blank, [4] catalogue; [2], xxxii, 416, [16] Index to the two Volumes. Later half maroon calf with gilt titles and floral decoration to spines, and marbled paper-covered boards. Spines sunned and rubbed with much of gilt absent; corners and boards lightly scuffed. Lacking the folding map as frontispiece in each volume; ffep Vol I lightly creased. A very Good set.
 
Survey of farming in the south of England, including cultivation of cereal crops, vegetables and grass, animal husbandry, implements and buildings, and suggestions for improvements. Despite wanting the map, this is a scarce set. Heavyweight so a contribution towards increased postage costs will be requested for overseas delivery.
