Corners and spine tips very slightly bruised and textblock edge lightly foxed, otherwise a clean bright copy, with no annotation or inscriptions, Jacket a little nicked & creased to edge with very minor loss at spine tips. A Very Good copy in like jacket.
15 short stories including the title tale, featuring “a middle-aged bachelor who finds himself saddled with six Beauty Queens” (from jacket front flap). Obviously a fate worse than death...
