Quarto, xvi, 335, [1]. Black quarter roan with gilt titles and decoration to spine and green buckram-covered boards; top edge gilt, others uncut. Limitation slip signed by the Author tipped-in to fore. Spine sunned and leather rubbed to edge. Scattered light foxing, heavier to edges and endpapers. Newspaper clippings tipped in to rear paste-down, from the Times Literary Supplement comprising a review of this title, the Author’s response and reviewer’s reply, all inscribed with “TLS” and dates from 1920 in pencil. A Very Good copy.
