Tall quarto, pp. 8 with fold-out double-page pop-up to rear cover with colour illustrations to reverse, and full page illustration inside front cover. Cloth spine with pictorial stiff card boards. Corners lightly creased. The pop-up has a single small closed tear to the palm tree, in full working order with no loss, colouring is bright and vivid. A very good copy.
Stunning pop-up book with detailed nativity scene, including structural manger with cellophane window, exotic backdrops, flanked by an overarching Star of Bethlehem and Angel Gabriel. Illustrated by notable Czech architect, artist and pop-up designer Vojtech Kubasta with a short story to accompany it. Scarce, but especially so in this condition.
