Gilt titles and mountain scenes blocked in blue and gilt to spine. Black titles to upper board, with mountain scenes blocked in colour. In unclipped pictorial dust-jacket. A very good clean copy in a good jacket. Spine tips a little rubbed, and top edge faintly sunned. Text-block cracked at hinge but firmly holding. Dust-jacket creased and stained with small loss to edge, and covered with transparent adhesive film. Wildlife on the Spitzbergen Archipelago described and photographed by the Scottish naturalist.
