Undated circa 1960. Folio, pp. [56] inscribed and illustrated to recto only, in binder; 3 leaflets on dental hygiene also strung in binder. 7 printed leaflets and pamphlets on oral health, two magazine supplements on Beauty from Woman’s Own and on Hair from Woman, the latter dated 1960, loosely inserted together with 2 copies of The Kingsway Book of Personal Hygiene for Girls (1950, small quarto softcover, pp. 78 in pictorial card wraps) and Ministry of Education pamphlet Simple Health Hints by Broman & Auden (1956, 16mo, pp. 34, paginated to include stapled printed paper wraps). Green pebbled cloth binder with floral endpapers; title inscribed to pink card onlay to upper board decorated with magazine cut-out scraps. Contents comprise leaves with cut-out illustrations captioned in blue ink and interspersed with text sheets on subjects such as The Skin and The Care of the Sense Organs. Binder lightly scuffed with renewed cord. Some creasing to lower edge of leaves and wear at punched holes. One copy of Kingsway booklet surface soiled. Overall condition: Very Good. Has the appearance of a school project undertaken with enthusiasm, particularly for tooth care. Captions include: Bath Time is Beauty Time and Choose Sensible Shoes to Support your feet.
