Inner hinges weak; sporadic foxing and fingermarking, mainly to endpapers. Map has been misfolded with associated creasing and soiling. Cover cloth heavily rubbed and damp stained with wear to corners and spine tips; crease across upper board. Bonwick (1817-1906) was a prolific author, teacher and Archivist for New South Wales; this was the first of his historical works. Scarce.
