Small neat ownership inscription to ffep dated 1913 and second dated 1945. Toned to endpapers and the odd spot of very light foxing to prelims otherwise contents clean, crisp ad bright. Overall a Very Good copy. James’ second collection of ghost stories inspired by his academic interests in medievalism, antiquarianism and bibliography, including “The Tractate Middoth", “Casting the Ruins”, and “The Stalls of Barchester Cathedral”.
