Publishers’ grey quarter linen with printed paper title-label to spine and blue paper-covered boards, in unclipped printed dust-jacket. Additional title label bound-in to rear; edges uncut. Spine lightly foxed; text-block edge foxed otherwise contents clean; no annotation or inscriptions. Jacket toned, particularly to spine, lightly foxed and entirely backed with plain white paper. A very good copy in like dust-jacket.
 
Detailed study of the Kelmscott Press, its history and operation, by Morris’ son-in-law Henry Halliday Sparling; appendices include an annotated list of the books printed at the Press by S. C. Cockerell and a note on his aims in founding the Press by Morris himself.
