Limited First Edition, one of 500 copies only. Quarto, pp. xii, 102, [2]. Frontispiece and 24 plates by Vernon Hill, with tissue guards. Publishers’ grey cloth with gilt titles to spine and upper board and large gilt vignette to upper board; candelabra motif to endpapers; top edge gilt, others uncut. In the original 1912 grey pictorial dust jacket. Spine lightly toned and lower corners bruised; scattered light foxing; no annotation or inscriptions. Dust-jacket with a closed tear running the length of the lower joint, toned to spine and partial toning to rear of jacket. Partial loss to head and tail of spine but an otherwise fresh and substantially complete dust-jacket.
