Publishers’ grey quarter buckram with paper-covered boards; gilt titles to grey leather spine label; fore-edge and lower edge uncut. Binding lightly foxed, with surface scuff to lower board; spine tips and corners a little rubbed. A hint of sunning to top edge of upper board. Foxing to textblock edge otherwise contents clean and crisp with MacAulay armorial bookplate to front pastedown bearing the motto “Tha Cunnarton Mils” which translates as “Dangers are Sweet” from Scottish gaelic. A Very Good copy.
