INSCRIBED FIRST EDITION. Octavo, pp. 159, [1]. Eight double sided monochrome plates of paintings by Norman Cornish. Publisher’s red faux leather with gilt titles to spine, in unclipped pictorial laminated jacket. Cover slightly scuffed; a little light foxing, mainly to endpapers and text-block edge. Charming inscription form the Author to ffep: “For Connie, with all my love & best wishes, Sid Chaplin. The good trees give apples in & out of season!”. Jacket white panels lightly toned and soiled, with creases to flaps. A Very Good copy in like jacket.
