FIRST EDITION. Octavo, pp. 124. Publishers’ tan cloth with black titles to spine and upper board, in printed brown dust-jacket. Spine tips and corners a little rubbed; free endpapers toned next to jacket flaps, with bold ownership inscription to ffep dated in year of publication. Scattered light foxing, mainly to textblock edge, and a few leaves creased. Jacket rubbed and lightly soiled with a few nicks and creases to edge and very slight loss top edge, repaired to reverse with adhesive tape. A Very Good copy in like jacket.
 
Written as a consequence of the Authors’ visit to America, this work compares the booming American economy with that in Britain. The writers toured leading manufacturing plants and commercial organisations,and wrote this as a wake-up call to industrialists back home.
