Spine and boards a touch sunned, with wear at spine tips and corners. A slightly shaken copy with weak but holding inner front hinge. Free endpapers lightly toned; light foxing to prelims and frontispiece; no annotation or inscriptions. A good copy.
Early work on mountaineering by a female author. Helen Hamilton the pioneering woman climber who explored the Alps whilst convalescencing there in Edwardian times.
