SECOND EDITION. Octavo, pp. viii, 288, [4] Index; viii, 187, [1]. Publishers’ dark green cloth with gilt titles and shamrock motifs to spines and upper boards. Matt black endpapers. White paint marks to spine and lower board Vol I; spine tips and corners of both volumes rubbed. Scattered light foxing, mainly to textblock edge & ghost marks from partially removed labels to each front free endpaper, otherwise contents clean and tight. A good set.
History of Ireland and the Irish from the early Christians up to publication. Scarce as a complete set. Heavyweight so a contribution towards increased postage costs will be requested for overseas delivery.
