Critical biography of the American poet by the English writer and critic (1895-1965). The enclosed postcard is from Fausset to psychic medium Dora Head who “connected” with Whitman at seances and also photographed Whitman psychometrically, and the content refers to the recent publication of the book and descibed Head as “a friend of Walt”.
