Brown faux-leather covered boards, with gilt titles and emblem to spine, in a green unclipped pictorial dust-jacket. Near fine, with just a touch of foxing to page block edges and front free end-paper. Dust-jacket a little creased to spine head, with a small closed tear to the fold of the upper panel.
Upper Coquetdale is David Dixon’s best known work, originally published in 1903, with illustrations by John Turnbull Dixon. The book comprehensively explores and records the history, wildlife and culture of the area. This facsimile reprint has a further introduction by Ronald Bibby.
