Finely bound by Riviere and Son in blue half calf and blue cloth with gilt fillets; gilt Napoleonic ornaments to spine compartments, red and green morocco spine labels with gilt titles. With Pink and blue marbled endpapers. Calf mildly spine sunned and lightly worn to corners, some slight foxing to text-block edges and prelims. Net contemporary owner’s inscription dated 1915 to front free endpaper. Contents tight and secure, gilt ornaments and lettering bright, 16 plates throughout clean. Overall a very good copy.
