Publishers’ bright blue cloth with black titles and pictorial roundel to spine, and gilt medallion to upper board. Spine lightly sunned with minor wear at tips; corners bruised and rubbed. Free endpapers slightly toned, with tidy gift inscription in ink to ffep. Hinge cracked at pp. 16-17 but firmly holding. A very good copy. Originally serialised in “Modern Boy”, this is the first publication in book form of the thirteenth title in the ever-popular Biggles adventure series. £200.00
