An early biography of the Newcastle-born Lord Cuthbert Collingwood, one of the most celebrated naval admirals of the Napoleonic era, and a friend of Lord Nelson. The author, Elias MacKenzie, was a local historian who wrote two of the comprehensive histories on Newcastle and Northumberland. This extremely rare work by MacKenzie appears to be unrecorded;
